What a sample includes

A sample usually covers pattern making, fabric and trims, cutting and sewing by a skilled sample maker, and any prints, embroidery or washes. One style can need more than one round.

What makes samples cost more

Complex construction, special fabrics that must be sourced in small amounts, custom trims, multiple colourways and several revision rounds all raise the cost.

Starting from a sketch or AI render means design and pattern work is needed first, while a full tech pack shortens that step.

Why samples cost more per piece than bulk

A sample is made one at a time, often with materials bought in tiny quantities. In bulk production those setup costs are spread across many units.

How to keep sampling efficient

Share clear references and measurements, limit changes between rounds, and confirm fabric early. Ask your manufacturer for a quote for your exact styles before sampling starts.

Get a quote for your design

Every design is different, so the most reliable way to know your sample cost is to share your design. Drop it on the Innovtex homepage and our team will come back with next steps and a quote.
