Identify the source of the concept

xAI documents image generation capabilities. A generated clothing image is a concept reference, not proof of ownership, production feasibility or a completed tech pack.

Record which parts came from your own sketches, reference images or generated suggestions. Keep the selected file and brief together rather than relying on an evolving conversation as the only project record.

Review branding and reference permissions

Inspect the image for unintended logos, copied artwork or text that differs from your intended branding. Provide actual artwork files and the exact approved wording separately.

Review the current vendor terms and any third party permissions relevant to commercial use. If you are unsure about a protected design or mark, resolve that before asking for its reproduction. This guide is production preparation, not legal advice.

Label visible facts and missing specifications

The concept may show pocket placement and silhouette but leave the fabric, internal construction and measurements undefined. Make a three part list: details you approve, options you want reviewed and decisions still pending.

For an illustrative printed T shirt concept, the pictured graphic still needs a source artwork file, placement measurements and a reviewed print method. Its appearance on an AI garment does not specify those production choices.

Create a clear manufacturer handoff

Send the concept, approved artwork if available, product description, quantity per style, target price and delivery destination. Explain any references you want used only for inspiration.
